Eden Cycling will host the annual Oudtshoorn Cycling Youth Festival for the 8th consecutive year from Monday, 25 June to Thursday, 28 June 2018.
The Oudtshoorn Youth Festival has shown a good progressive growth and a high level of competition over the years. We have not increased the entry fee for 2018 and for the entry fee of R300 the riders can compete in 7 different cycling disciplines.
This year the Cross Country(XCO) has been added to strengthen the skills development component of the competition. We will also keep the MTB track events as this has proven to be very exciting and creates an opportunity for riders to outwit their competitors with skill.
For the first time Eden Cycling will make use of an online entering system to streamline the entry and registration process. This process will also enable managers and Clubs/Provinces to make bulk entries. We tried to keep the process simple, but at the same time as efficient as possible and make sure riders are updated on their entry status. All the information on the routes, rules, time schedule and more information is available on Eden Cycling’s website at Information and online entries.
Entries for the event will close on 17 June 2018. No late entries or entries at the start of the event will be allowed.
