SA Nationals Criterium 2026 – Mossel Bay
National Criterium Championships Come to Mossel Bay
Mossel Bay will welcome cyclists from across South Africa for the 2026 South African National Criterium Championships on 31 October and 1 November.
Hosted by Eden Cycling and organised by Crank To Crown Events in partnership with Cycling South Africa, the championships promise an exciting weekend of coastal racing as riders compete for the national champion’s jersey.
The approximately 3.5 km circuit along George Road in the De Bakke–Santos area offers fast racing on smooth tar, with a fully closed circuit and a race village at Santos Beach. Spectators can enjoy the action as riders pass repeatedly throughout each race.
Saturday features Veterans and Masters racing, together with the C2C Youth Criterium Championships. Young cyclists will experience the same circuit as the national competitors, with mountain bikes welcome in the youth event. Junior, Under 23 and Elite riders race on Sunday.
The weekend begins with a community outride on Friday, 30 October, starting at Diaz Hotel. Registration, the official opening ceremony and prize givings will also take place at Diaz Hotel & Resort, the official accommodation partner.
Following the relocation from George, we thank Mossel Bay Municipality, our partners and the cycling community for their support in bringing these championships to life.
Bring your bike, bring your family and join us in Mossel Bay!
Online entries close 27 October, with late entries available at registration on 30 October. National championship riders must meet Cycling South Africa’s eligibility and racing-licence requirements.
Please consult the event guide for the full programme, registration times, route maps, parking and accommodation information.
